Known for his genre-bending sounds, bass-heavy psychedelic performances, surreal visuals, Psychonauts collective, and weekly livestreams, Alesdi has quickly established himself as an artist to watch in the experimental bass scene.

Alesdi’s sound pulls from over a decade spent producing across genres, combining his roots in hip-hop with a longtime love for psychedelic rock, trance, and bass music. That collision came into full focus with 2025’s Proof of Concept, a five-track experimental bass project produced as one continuous piece in a single Ableton session, with vocal samples pulled almost entirely from an old documentary on psychedelics. Released on Halloween 2025 alongside his biggest show to date, playing direct support for Whethan on the 360 stage at Wicked Warehouse, the project marked a turning point for Alesdi and laid the groundwork for the increasingly bass-heavy, psychedelic direction his music has taken since. In between a slew of remixes bringing in at least 10,000 streams a month on SoundCloud, his original singles in 2026, Dance (All Night) with nic., Rhythm (In My Skin), and Joe Ordinary with Monarch have continued pushing that sound even further, each release laying more creative groundwork for an upcoming project leaning more into those longtime influences than ever before. 

Outside of his own releases, Alesdi is the founder of Psychonauts, a St. Louis-based artist collective built alongside co-founders nic. and Monarch. After experimenting with the concept earlier in 2025, Psychonauts found its footing with an invite-only, 40-ticket-capacity event that December. From there, it quickly grew into a community of artists, DJs, and creatives centered around music, events, and their weekly livestreams. Just six months later, nearly 900 tickets were sold for their biggest event yet, the Cowboys vs. Aliens Psychonauts Main Stage takeover at Mississippi Underground in June 2026. Now, between festival appearances and B3B performances, the collective comes together every Tuesday at 9pm, usually with special guests, often DJing well into the following day. Alesdi has also expanded the stream to multiple days a week, starting with Sundays, regularly bringing viewers directly into the studio as he works on new music. 

With a growing catalog, an increasingly distinct sound, and a team of incredibly talented artists building alongside him, Alesdi has spent the last year turning what was once a solo project into something much larger. The music keeps getting stranger, the shows keep getting better, and the world surrounding Alesdi and Psychonauts keeps looking brighter (and trippier) than ever.
